Anyone else agree that from the first day of November, Christmas was totally thrown at us all at once? Thursday the 1st, I spent my day off work in Dublin City centre and was somewhat surprised at the elaborate christmas decorations in most retail stores and listening to Jingle bell rocks! The shops also seemed to be busier than normal with a real sense of urgency to shop.
Straight away it got me thinking, what am I buying everyone for christmas this year? So thats what has inspired me to write this post, I have two younger sisters who are beauty lovers, so I decided maybe thats the best place to start!!
Personally I love being gifted new makeup products, especially products I have never tried, so I feel it is definitely a good option! However when it comes to choosing colours, I guess you really need to know the person you’re buying for very well! For me, my sisters use my makeup, so I know if I love it, then they will too! If you are unsure about colours, I would be sure to take a sneaky picture of their current makeup collection and ask the lovely experts in stores what they would recommend.
Skincare and makeup brushes tend to be super expensive and over priced! But below I have added my favourite and most affordable brands. Mario Badescu, Starskin and Zoeva are huge right now! Each brand having a huge amount of growth in their industries. The value for money is great with all three of these brands! Once you try their products you will be hooked!
These are just some extra add on ideas! As some might call them the stocking fillers. I always think throwing in some wispy lashes and lipgloss is an easy one and available almost everywhere. I have chosen a Jeffree Star makeup bag as another option, it’s a little more pricey, however Jeffree himself is a huge and current influence in the world of beauty, make up and I guess revolutionising the beauty world itself!
